My character Smith is a photographer. I have weakness for photographers in my stories, all down to my greatly missed friend Ray. Smith’s photos were taken at dusk or thereabouts, and, ever so gently, they reveal the man. To know more, you will have to show up or order the book.
Well done to the other storytellers whose work will be read at the Nottingham bash: Penny Pepper, Lucy Grace and Kirsty Fox. And the poets: Sue Birchenough, Kelly Davis, Katy Lee and Stevie Krayer.
If you’re nearby, or know anyone who is, pop along. On 21 December astronomical dusk starts in Nottingham at 5.17. (Other dusks are available, apparently.) Best get there no later than 5 o’clock, or earlier if you want to be sure of a mince pie.
Dusk elsewhere? Stories, poems and music at Inverness, Ellon, Greenwich, Carlisle, Rossendale, Lancaster, Birmingham, Bristol (Kelston), Holyhead, Warkleigh and Redruth Head over to Arachne Press for the latest.
